Veridium (VRD) is a fully on-chain, immutable ERC-20 token built on OpenZeppelin v5.0.0 and deployed to Base Mainnet. With a hard cap of 1,000,000,000 VRD, every token is already minted and in circulation.

There are no upgrade proxies, no hidden admin functions, and no mechanism to mint beyond the max supply. The contract is fully verified on BaseScan using Standard JSON-Input, so anyone can audit the source code, ABI, and bytecode.

Token holders can burn VRD at any time via the built-in burn() function, permanently reducing supply. This mechanism is inherited from OpenZeppelin's ERC20Burnable extension.
